I know the term thick paint implies that the paint is applied thickly, which isn't true. New Layer Compatibility - OMGosh, this new feature is the main reason to upgrade! Not only can you tell at a glance which brushes can be used on which layers, most impasto variants can now be used on Thick Paint layers. options are infinite, but can be simplified by using customizable presets.
